After years of playing and exploring guitars from major brands to boutique builders, Pekka (“Pexi”) Laaksonen often found himself helping friends and fellow players choose the right instrument. With time, this informal advisory role grew into something more — a vision to create a curated space for instruments that truly matter.

A pivotal moment was a visit to Paoletti Guitars in Italy. Meeting Filippo and his team, witnessing their methods, and experiencing their dedication to reclaimed chestnut and handcrafted building left a lasting impression.

It became clear that these instruments deserved a home in the Nordic market — and that players here would appreciate the same authenticity and craftsmanship.
