Description
The Deep Blue Delay is a natural-sounding digital/analog delay featuring an analog direct signal path. Its bandwidth is comparable to classic tape echo units, delivering warm, musical repeats that blend naturally with your dry signal.
The pedal is specifically designed to perform exceptionally well with distorted tones — one of the most demanding environments for delay effects. It can be placed before or after distortion pedals, in front of an amplifier, or in an amplifier’s effects loop. Thanks to its carefully tuned echo bandwidth and repeat formation, it also excels on clean tones, offering smooth decay and a highly musical feel.
Special attention has been given to the first critical reflection and how repeats decay over time, ensuring clarity, warmth, and consistency even in more complex playing situations. The result is a delay that feels natural, reliable, and easy to integrate into virtually any rig.
Controls
- LEVEL – Sets the level of the delayed signal mixed with the dry guitar tone. Fully counter-clockwise provides only the dry (un-effected) signal, while fully clockwise gives the loudest delay.
- DELAY – Controls the delay time from approximately 25 ms (fully counter-clockwise) to 450 ms (fully clockwise).
- REPEAT – Controls the number of delay repeats. Fully counter-clockwise produces a single repeat; fully clockwise allows infinite feedback.
