The Green Wonder is a versatile, high-headroom overdrive and booster pedal with high output and a dynamic, open feel. It works equally well with single-coil and humbucking pickups and performs consistently across a wide range of amplifiers, from clean platforms to heavily overdriven rigs.
An updated evolution of the legendary Little Green Wonder, The Green Wonder retains everything that made the original so musical while adding expanded tone-shaping flexibility. The inclusion of dedicated Bass and Treble controls allows you to precisely tailor the low and high frequencies to match your guitar, amplifier, and signal chain.
From clean boost and bluesy crunch to classic rock overdrive, The Green Wonder delivers a tight, controlled response with excellent clarity. When stacked with other overdrives, it can also produce heavier and more saturated tones, making it a powerful and adaptable tool for both stage and studio use.
Controls
- VOLUME – Sets the overall output level. Even when used as a clean boost, The Green Wonder provides enough output to push the front end of a tube amplifier into natural clipping.
- DRIVE – Sets the amount of overdrive. Turning counter-clockwise yields low gain or boost tones, while clockwise settings move from bluesy crunch to rock overdrive.
- BASS – Adjusts the low-frequency content, ranging from a slight low-end cut to a substantial bass boost. A good starting point is around the 1 o’clock position.
- TREBLE – Controls the brightness, from warm and smooth to bright and cutting. A good starting point is at noon.
