Description

The Silver Spring Reverb (SSR) is a compact and intuitive digital/analog reverb featuring a pure analog direct signal path. It delivers a natural, ambient reverb that enhances your tone without getting in the way of the original signal.

While the Silver Spring Reverb sounds exceptional with clean tones, it was specifically designed to meet the more demanding requirements of distorted signals. It is primarily intended for placement after distortion, where it maintains clarity and depth without becoming muddy. The pedal can also be used before distortion, in which case a lower Reverb (Wet/Dry) setting is recommended for best results.

With carefully tuned decay characteristics and flexible tone shaping, the Silver Spring Reverb covers everything from subtle room ambience to lush, plate-style reverbs. Its musical response makes it equally suitable for rhythmic chord work, expressive single-note playing, and spacious ambient textures.

Controls

  • TIME – Sets the reverb decay time. Fully counter-clockwise produces a small room–like decay, while fully clockwise delivers a large hall or plate-style reverb. The center position offers an optimal medium decay for rhythmic chords and single notes.
  • TONE – Adjusts the bandwidth of the reverb signal. Turning clockwise results in a brighter reverb, while counter-clockwise produces a darker tone. Fully counter-clockwise approximates a traditional spring reverb, while clockwise moves toward a studio reverb character.
  • REVERB – Controls the amount of reverb mixed with the dry signal. Fully counter-clockwise turns the reverb off; fully clockwise provides the maximum reverb level.
  • INTERNAL GAIN TRIM – Adjusts the overall output level of the pedal, allowing boost or cut relative to unity gain.
